From Trash to Treasure

My grandmother used to make baskets like this. I could not find her pattern so I made this one from memory. Later, my mom showed me one of Grandma's baskets and I discovered that the base for hers was an octogon instead of a hexagon. This basket is made from Christmas cards, but you could make one from any type of greeting card.
